Advanced Online Banking - Registration Guide

Advanced Online Banking is the next evolution in your Gain experience. Here's how to get signed up!

There are two paths:

For Transferring Users For New Users

For Transferring Users (Used Previous Versions of Gain's Online Banking)

Step 1

If you used the previous version of Gain's Online & Mobile Banking, it's time to upgrade to Advanced Online Banking, and this is the guide for you. If you have never used Gain's remote banking systems, please skip to the guide below. Start by clicking the new "Login" tab on any page of GainFCU.com. That will open the new Advanced Online Banking login. Enter your credentials as you typically would and click the red arrow to advance.

Now you're ready to move forward and into the future! Click "Set Up Your Account" and be ready to answer a few questions so that we can verify your identity.

For New Users (Never Used Gain's Online Banking Before)

Step 1

Click "Enroll" in the Advanced Online Banking widget found in the header of every page of this website, GainFCU.com, or visit olb.gainfcu.com (pictured here) and click "Enroll."

Step 2

After agreeing to our Online Banking disclosures, you'll need to choose your banking relationship. ON this page, let us know if you will be joining as the sole or primary Member on an account, as a joint on someone else's account, or as a Business Member.

Step 3a

Next we'll get to know you! You'll need all of the details pictured in the image including your Social Security Number, Member Number (without leading zeroes), Zip Code, Home Phone, Birthdate, and email address.

Step 3b

Now scroll down the page a bit, and we'll set up your credentials. You'll need to choose a username and password. Be sure to make a strong password. We'll also set up security questions so that we can easily verify your identity in the future.

Step 4

You'll be shown a masked version of email address we have associated with your account. Make sure it's correct and click 'Send Security Code.' If the email address is not correct, you will need to contact us to make an adjustment. All of our contact options are listed at GainFCU.com/Contact.

Step 5

A special one-time security code will be mailed to the email address you have on file with the credit union. Retrieve this code from your email and enter it on this screen to authenticate your identity.

Step 6

Next, you have an opportunity to freshen up your email details. If you'd like to make a change from the email you used to authenticate, now's the time! You'll also be asked to create three security questions that can be used as an additional verification step if necessary. 

And with that, you're in! Welcome to the future with Advanced Online Banking!

Finding Your Member Number

  • How do I find my Member number?
    • Your member number is on the physical Signature Card you received at the time you opened your Gain account.
    • Online signups can find their member number on the Signature Card portion of their membership materials (submitted via DocuSign).
    • In Online Banking, you can click Account > Routing & Account Numbers
    • In our Mobile App, you can tap Credit Score & More > Routing & Account Numbers
    • If you require assistance in finding your member number, call us at (818) 846-1710 or toll-free at (800) 622-3328.

Advanced Online Banking - Username Requirements

Your username: 

  • Must be between 5-20 characters.
  • May include alpha, numeric or special characters.
  • Cannot be the same as your Tax ID #/SSN or account number with Gain Federal Credit Union.
  • Is case sensitive.

Advanced Online Banking - Password Requirements

Your password: 

  • Must be at least 8 characters long.
  • Must contain at least 1 numeric, 1 alpha, and 1 special character.
  • Cannot be the same as your Username.
  • Must be different from any password used in the last 12 months.
  • Must be very different from any of your last 12 passwords used.
  • Is case sensitive

TIPS FOR STRONG PASSWORDS:

  • Try using special characters in place of letters. (e.g. use symbols like @or ! in place of "a", "e", "i", "o" or "u"
  • Try not to use dictionary words. They are easy to guess.
  • Avoid using passwords based upon your name, address, or other personal information.
